How to Write a Book Jacket Cover

Last week, I covered the "Why copy" of writing the book jacket, so we now want to roll up their sleeves and are in the "how".
What is copying? Book jacket copy is not to summarize your project or to the reader a concise summary of the plot or spoilers on sales. Book should copy it short, concise, and send a message. It should capture the reader and tell them why they should choose your product, rather than stacked to the thousands of other titles on the shelves.
How do I write? First you must write a summary of your project. This will help you determine what plot points you want to highlight, and you do not want to spoil for the reader. Once you have your low scenario, there are three components to the actual creation of the book jacket copy:
