Novel Story - David Baldacci - Author Biography

David Baldacci was born fifth August 1960 at Richmond, Virginia. He comes from a working class family. His father Rudolf was tucking foreman who had lost most of his hearing before the Second World War. He received his BA in political science at Virginia Commonwealth University and an LL.B. in 1988 from the University of Virginia. David has two older brothers, a brother, Rudi, and the artist, and his sister Sharon, a writer.
David Baldacci has criminal and corporate law, then practiced for nine years. He says he has always loved to read and tell stories, and growing, had often trouble with his tall tales. He said he wanted to write has always been, and began to write novels as a child and went during his work as a lawyer. He likes to joke that, as a lawyer, he has learned much about writing novels.
David met Michelle A. Collins, a paralegal at a barbecue and they dated and married in 1990. They have two children, a daughter Spencer, and a son, Collin. The family still lives in Virginia. David's first novel, "Absolute Power" was made into a hit movie with Clint Eastwood and Gene Hackman. David writes about various topics, but it is also known for his political thriller. It is also humorous, passionate and inspiring speaker of honor. He speaks often assessed at fundraising events. He said he was so prolific as he is a garrulous writer.
David and Michelle started a family foundation in 2002 under the title Wish You Well Foundation, which works to eliminate illiteracy nationwide. It has in common with the American diet, nutrition mind and body with food and book donations to food banks because of illiteracy, poverty results. David Dedications Fundraising, where he invites people to bring new and used books. They are also raising funds for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, the American Cancer Society involved and the Barbara Bush Foundation for Family Literacy. David is an ambassador for the National Multiple Sclerosis National Society.
David's books are published in over 45 languages and 80 countries with more than 70 million copies in print. Besides his books he has written seven plays screen.
