novel story - Reflecting the Sky by SJ Rozan - Book Review

Packed with action. This is the first novel I read SJ Rozan and it will certainly not be the last. Main characters Rozan private investigator Lydia Chin and Bill Smith are your classic odd couple, whose strengths and weaknesses, and as good as a glove. You are a strong team that players barracks. Lydia is feisty and outspoken, and the bill is its rock solid and true. The dialogue between Lydia and Bill is very catchy and entertaining, as is the potential for a little romance in one of the dangerous situations they unfolded largely to themselves, the story in the steaming streets of Hong Kong. I think the establishment of Hong Kong and the conflict between East and West, ancient and modern cultures has class and depth, has the story. With a missing boy who lost solidarity in the family and their connections with the triads, the murder "is an option," the mystery and intrigue is everywhere. Reflecting the sky Rozan a new IP with heart and enthusiasm has created - to know when we spend time for reflection and the staging and timing, to provide fast action sequences. I commend also the story of this wonderful audio book by Kathy Hsieh - I found it pleasant to the ear and the voice of his excellent timing.
I was a little disappointed that this first book by SJ Rozan I was in seventh place in the Bill Smith, Lydia Chin series (published in 2001) happened, but I'm really looking forward to reading the next novel, Winter and Night ( 2002). Book 9, Shanghai Moon in paperback is released in August 2010 and 10 book series on the line is ready to be published in hardcover in September 2010.
