novel story - Grotesque by Natsuo Kirino Book Review

Grotesque - What a great title and qualified for this book tells the story of two sisters in Japan, an incredibly beautiful, and of course very attractive to men, while the other, c is the opposite in almost every possible way. Their contemporary kid they must have different fathers. Is that true?
The book is set in Japan, China and Switzerland, and each section, I also find interesting and credible.
It is a story of rivalry between siblings, siblings, even hatred, hidden and slowly draws the reader is forced to you to get more. The beautiful, Yuriko, grows and becomes a prostitute. Why should she not? They must always by men, and what better job could there be?
The story is told in first person, but different from four, so there is some repetition of events, but because the views are different, the facts are different, the story weaves a different route to keep interested readers and to advise.
It is a dark and disturbing book of prostitution, under age sex, incest, illegal immigrants, senility, suicide and murder, and the common good of all mortals, only to be ultimately the search for love and be loved. It is the second novel by the Japanese writer Natsuo Kirino to be translated into English, the first of the famous wide out.
It is a book that seems more at first glance, ideal for holidays, to read then concentrated. Certainly, there are only 467 pages, but the impression is rather small, and I guess the number of words must push a quarter million dollar mark, a considerable amount of work in any language. It was translated into English by Rebecca Copeland, who has obviously made a great job.
I appreciated enormously grotesque, not even feel the need to set aside and start something else, but more than that, I'll miss it, that he no longer sitting next to my bed. This is not a gay-gay novel, the title and the subject says it all about this, but it is a mandatory read that I would definitely be recommended.
