Tips for writing a novel - Tip 8 - Use Power Point to build a Stepsheet

When I wrote 1,000 words, I need a plan. I can not do everything in my head. In fact, in many cases, I create a plan and then add to it. It is impossible to preserve all the nuances of a novel in my head. I lose myself. If at any concrete plan, I have to lose, me, or worse, spend many hours to write material that I throw. You can easily stepsheet one in any word processing program that provides for the description of the functions, and you can also stepsheet using special programs that you can buy over the Internet. You know what's good for the kind of writing to you. Here is why I sometimes use Microsoft PowerPoint to stepsheet to:

* It is for me, easy in an article on a single screen drop.

* I can save a Microsoft Powerpoint slide show that displayed all the slides automatically, or any number of slides - like the waves, see the chapters 1, 2 and 3 only.

* I can be a voice for each slide, PowerPoint, and have the show I read the stepsheet. This way I can see and hear the worksheet.

* Sometimes I export the worksheet to a Microsoft Word document and use it to write my novel.

* I can paint a part of the text to indicate where I want to have seriously
It is easy to create a stepsheet in Microsoft PowerPoint. All you have to do is begin open a new PowerPoint presentation and input. However, these tips make it easier for me that I use to create stepsheet. Perhaps they will also help.

* I, the basic idea in the title bar

* I develop my thoughts in the box that appears in the box below

* I could say I want to write a narrative voice in blue.

* I could identify areas that seem very important in green. (Green color of leaves in the spring.)

* I was able to identify the areas I'm not sure, brown. (Brown color of the leaf, which is dying is.)

* Sometimes I use colored backgrounds in the film. colored backgrounds make it easy to see the various chapters, and I can use a background color to indicate when I think about getting rid of a point.

* If I change the color as the background, medium green is good, yellow indicates caution and red means probably remove
Ironically, some of my favorite ideas first discarded. Because they do not advance the hypothesis of the story. The principle is intended to be a story after the test every page, paragraph, can lead sentence, every sentence should move forward.
For example, blocked for my next book, The Emerald, the principle of "Evil" and "Love can never be destroyed, but the evil contains the seeds of this captivity. Love does not work. "
Sometimes I use a design model. I feel relaxed when I'm not just a white card.
Sometimes I use the outline view of PowerPoint. Sometimes I save the file as a plan. I can edit with Word and complement the presentation, or replace some of its parts.
One advantage of using a PowerPoint stepsheet that the area to post comments automatically allocated to the limited amount that I write.
Another advantage is that it makes me feel like setting, and no written dialogue.
I have sometimes seen as a slideshow. It will allow me to see how my story will progress, and if I can I record my voice and listen to what I intend to write.
Another advantage is that I simply change the order in which two friends part of PowerPoint, the slide sorter or slipping on a per slide.
Also, sometimes I have pictures, which I see to help my writing. "When he slipped into the waterfall, Barry closed his eyes and begins to laugh. The water around her body like a feather tickling million swirled ..." came to write, while the image.
Use the written ideas that make sense for you, and good!
