What the point of view in a novel ?

whats Point of view ?

Which term? That is the question we ask everyone to write a short story, novel, and in some cases, a poem. And there is no simple answer. The view (POV) You need your style as a writer suit the requirements of your chosen genre, and your country.
Perhaps the simplest way to discuss POV is a scale of intimacy compared to the general understanding. In general, the pair of high-level of intimacy with the common understanding, and vice versa. Viewpoint is a choice between the strong, emotionally drawn figures (intimate) and a piece of Blockbuster (understanding).
The most intimate is the first person POV. The reader is the closest possible connection with the thoughts and feelings of the character, but a wider loss of consciousness. The reader can not know everything that the guide does not.
In contrast, omniscient POV is less intimate, but give the widest global understanding. And the third person POV is very much a compromise between the other two.
Well, let's take a look at the advantages and disadvantages of each.

First Person POV
In this POV, is the author and the reader instead of characters. It is the view of the character (he / she tells us what happened) by the use of words such as "I", "I" and "ma".
I was walking on the street, swinging my bag at each step. I saw a stray dog. "Where is your house?" I asked.
The author can not do everything, which is also not known by the character. For example, do not you know that the owners of the abandoned dog that morning, unless they do it looked. This limits the reader to interpret the world in which you live your characters and the events that take place (plot).
Since he only able to see things through the eyes of the main character "reality" sort of cloud. This can be both blessing and curse. He could hide the fault of your leadership and a mystery to improve, but could also prevent the reader have a clear understanding of the plot.
Remember, the first is the story of the character and is very persistent. Everything is seen and understood pursued with reference to the views of the character, abilities and disabilities (for a man who suddenly seems a frightening reality - the reader to dissect the real and true - of course it might be one would consider good thing, but please !).
One way around this "cloud" is the first person view of several characters, and not to use it as first single. This will be the first person indefinitely. With this, the events can be seen as a view, and the reader reaches a "real" view of your imaginary world. Thus, the views and prejudices of a character from another are smoothed against the notice.
First person is unlimited, as far as a conveyor of relationships used. The reader can understand the approaches and answers and why each character acts like they do. What we thought so clever and funny, others may see as stupid and immature. The reader can understand how to build friendships and trust.
However you structure your story, make sure that every character is special. It takes a lot of skill on the part of the author and not done correctly, the reader will have difficulty distinguishing between your characters. Sharpen your chances of vision and make it as different as you can while your story (would not it be a good idea, two close friends, that the policy will have conducted). Some authors have placed the name of the leader at the beginning of each chapter and (to avoid confusion), then write with the voice of this character for the whole chapter.
First Person POV creates a potentially memorable and intimate story. But it works well, you must:
• Create strong leads, interesting
· Remember that you can not even something that does not bear witness first hand your prospects
· Make sure every single thread

Omniscient POV
omniscient point of view is less intimate, but is excellent for a general understanding. In fact, in terms of privacy, it is the opposite of the first. This is a description from the outside. It is just like the procedure by a TV camera - the reader can hear voices and see the shares but not read minds. There is no main character, but as a cloud hovers over the scene observed.
The car was on the highway at breakneck speed on the way cops not far behind. "My God," said Josh.
At the third person, I could write, "Geoff was thinking the same thing," but I can not do it in omniscience POV. Instead, I might write:
A frown was on both faces.
Omniscient POV point of view of profit to a loss of privacy. Author Rennie Brown suggests the choice of the omniscient view of Lonesome Dove was the biggest flaw in an otherwise successful novel. This demonstrates that even a powerful action requires a degree of intimacy in nature.
So, this POV, be careful these days to know is the way in left field.

Third person POV
third person is a compromise between intimacy and perspective. In many respects, the POV "safe." Most novels are written in the third person, just because it has a greater versatility and attractiveness (as a compromise offers) for a greater variety of people. The third person is often used in the action and thriller genres. And as such, its popularity is not surprising.
The limited range of third is easy. The reader will walk in the shoes of a single character, but may know things that the character is not. After a first single as it can get to know your audience better on the character.
The authors have more difficulty with the third person POV, the operation of several undefined constant leads the scenes, singular. This is the "one scene, a POV discipline", which described many critics. However, it is not absolutely necessary: the action author Matthew Reilly swap drives with high speed and his novels are selling like hot cakes. Think about the changing POV lowers the level of intimacy. Of course, for a book of action, it is not so important.
If you do not need to change your POV in a scene, it is advisable to leave one room before proceeding. In this way, it will be clear to your readers that the view has changed.
Regardless of your choice will be more exchange between the son, is your story less intimate. If the profit is worth the view loss of privacy?

Completion
Even after all this he returned to the same thing: your background, gender, and you as author. Remember, the positions are interchangeable. You can start with the first person, go to the third, then back to the first.
While the question "What is the point of view?" The answer is the only constant, "what is your history." Finally, independent of the others, or I say it's yours. What do you want?
Think about it ...
