novel story - Book Review - The Man in the High Castle by Philip K. Dick

Man in the High Castle by Philip K. Dick is perhaps the book of history's most famous alternative is. It is also one of the most famous Philip K. Dick novels, and one of his best - because it is one of the most highly structured and well written - perhaps because Dick had the luxury, especially for him, preparing several projects before the publication of the novel.
The novel is set in an alternate United States, which was defeated by the Axis powers in World War II set, and is divided into occupation zones, Japanese and German (with a central autonomous region as a buffer).
The story itself contains not a single act but a series of interconnected stories of several characters, and many of these alternate with a fiction book called "The Grasshopper Lies Heavy. In now familiar fashion for Double Blind What Ifs," The Grass Hopper Heavy Lies "imagine a world where the Allies had won the war - although, of course, the fantasy world is very different than ours.
According to Dick, he wrote the book of I Ching to determine the action events - Dick has even the I Ching to accused elements he was dissatisfied with the action. This is the novel itself, where I use Ching by several American and Japanese characters to life to make decisions that reflected and was even Abendsen Hawthorne, author of fiction determine uses "Heavy Lies The Grass Hopper" order the action.
How many of Dick's works, a recurring theme throughout the novel is the difference between true and false reality. The most prominent example of this theme is "The Grasshopper Lies Heavy", but it also occurs in the sign of selling fake artifacts, characters traveling under a false identity, and the characters even hints of our reality.
There are many more could I say about this book, but let me just say this: get it. If there really is not only a series of books on alternative history genre, but also one of the best pieces of literature of science fiction.
