nvel story - the Miko by Eric Van Lustbader

Reviews for Ivan Lustbader apparently has a lot of training in the martial arts, studied Asian cultures and countries, and has traveled extensively. All interest appeals to me, and I read out to him what he knows, I do not know.
Unfortunately Van Lustbader novels I've read have been so far too long, too complicated to maintain strong emotional and buried in a verbose style of writing. And if, despite their appearance, they have been disappointed me. After it down, it is difficult to remember each other. Miko is a good example.
The pieces are all interesting, but do not form a coherent whole.
The pupils of a martial arts teacher uses a remarkable ability mysterious murder.
Hero tycoon Nicholas Linnear help seal a big business with a Japanese company. Sounds good, but he hates the Tycoon, because he criticized the death of a famous model and Linnear will to his daughter, who hired his father hates. Linnear and friends is a policeman, who has disappeared in Florida, during the investigation of the case against the tycoon.
Finally, we met with fanatical anti-Communist works for the CIA. Executives of Japanese society are murdered in mysterious circumstances. We learn that during the second President of the World War II Japanese father was a pilot, a lifeboat with the bank president shared the company.
Then Linnear meets a woman who, like their first love, Yukio, who believes seeks death. This woman has an eye on Nicolas and finally gets him, though he is betrothed and married to the President of the Japanese society.
And do not forget is the top-secret project to the bottom of the ocean.
Confused? No, I will add to the educated daughter of a prostitute and later in the martial arts. The man in the Florida Keys, a famous model or is kept in the shade protected by bodyguards caught.
And only if you hate the tycoon to start, he died - but the action keeps moving.
We have not learned to Hong Kong. If the bank has managed to manipulate the President of the Chinese against each other, representatives of the communist government of the continent (the novel was written long before 1997).
But it is curious to see if, like me, the descriptions of life in Japan and Hong Kong love. The action is fun, but would know if I could understand what passait.ivre - Man in the High Castle by Philip K. Dick
