novel story - Characters in a love story

Before you start writing your novel, you need to know who your characters are. At least, you want two main characters, the hero and heroine. They interact with each other, especially in the novel. How they interact with each other, will determine the outcome of the story. Will they resist each other, fall in love at the beginning of the story and at the end? Or they will fall in love with the early history and then torn by a conflict? Once you have decided you need to decide at what age they are, their personality traits, and their names.
AGE
Age activities are essential to character development. When the heroine is a teenager, she will respond differently to situations which, if in their thirties. The same goes with the hero. In a romantic novel, the heroine is typical in the early twenties, while the hero is older. If he is in his twenties, he should not be shown as a tycoon, unless of course he has inherited wealth. When he was in his thirties, he should not do activities appear to be immature to be for his age.
Traits
should have a character in your novel different characteristics that make it unique. Unlike other in the novel, you can all types of situations based on these features. Personality characteristics are disclosed generally in the story through actions, dialogue with other people in history, and sometimes through flashbacks that show how this person, as may have been.
If you are not familiar with the personality traits, you can begin by studying the psychology books, which they describe. Examples of personality traits are introvert / extrovert, obsessive compulsive disorders, Type "A" Type B "personalities, etc. For example seems so here is an introverted person, do not talk much, and avoid in social situations, while an extrovert is sociable, outgoing, and usually one party-goer.
There are several types of personalities you can choose your hero, but in general a "romantic" women are: the nature, youth, education, love, hot, unique, sensuous, no joke, attractive. For your hero, the characteristics can vary even more, and will generally include: older, decisive, strong, kind, caring, simple, sweet and beautiful.
Normally, you should be well rounded characters. However, be careful to make it perfect. Readers prefer to read realistic people, and yet at the same time, want a little escape. Allow room for improvement to allow character development instead. As a writer, do you have to do mental gymnastics to happen. Maybe she is stubborn and obstinate and not listen to the advice of others. Maybe he does not trust anyone, so that it is wary and cautious. Very good. Once you decide on the features of each character, the next step would be to imagine how they react to certain situations. For example, an impulsive person would probably react differently from a prudent person in the same situation. Be prepared to give the skin of your character and feel what they feel. If a hero and heroine meet, they can overcome their faults to each other character at the end of the story to help. With their love for each other, they help each other to grow as a person, and at the same time to accept each other flaws and imperfections. Of course there will be some kind of conflict in the realization of their love. What exists for a story without conflict? But at the end of history recognize that the importance of the other in their lives and can not live without the other, regardless of price. Ahhh, true love!
NAMES
As soon as you age and individual characteristics of each character, then you must give them a name that suits them. If the male character is a warrior or a difficult personality of the mind that you do not want to give it a name that sounds feminine, like Jean or Francis. Also be sensitive to the preparation, time and place, in the pronunciation of the name. In addition, the names of the characters do not crush the hero / heroine 's name.
Other characters
Once you have your main characters, then you think who else in the novel. What role will be to help out other players, the hero or the heroine going forward? If you just add someone in the novel because you like it, but they do not contribute to the story, then rethink how they might be useful to the story. Maybe they know something that might be useful for the hero or heroine, and then add that in the story.
Cardboard figures are the result of focusing on one dimension of a character. The cardboard character can totally bad, good, funny, sad, etc. They do not waver much from that description. Sometimes they are added in the novel to prove the character of someone. For example, make a cardboard character of the hero look bad in the good fight with him. It is the goal that the character of evil, to show the good side of the hero. We are not trying to develop the character of the person, so angry that he / she is less evil. But in the recent literature, we find sympathetic people looking for their bad deeds do evil, but he makes it to the reader feel sorry for them. These complex types are not as cardboard.
Balancing
No matter how you think, write, always come back again and check your work for consistency. Make sure that if your hero has blue eyes in the beginning of the story, he is still secure, blue eyes by the end of history, etc. Imagine also that you know your characters to write before. If you do not, it will appear in your letter. Throughout history, you must carefully describe the real person in all their glory, and their defects of character. When I read the first version of My Romance novel continues, "Daughter Lipsi, I found that I prevent more to do with my characters too well maintained. I then went in and deliberately inserted a bug or two. These defects also contribute to the conflict. conflict drives the story.
The balance will be up to the end where you have created, are synthesized, or a new one that is learned to become a man well-being of the lessons in history. So now you have to read this section, go ahead and write your characters. to live you!
