The Painter of Shanghai is a fictional story about the life of the painter Pan Yuliang is based.

At the moment I had started reading this book, I was totally absorbed in the story. The author does an excellent job making the reader feel anything Yuliang experienced during his stay in the hall of eternal glory. The reader will feel the pain and humility had to endure Yuliang.
The author does a great job of showing that everyone can do, do what they want, even if there are many obstacles in their way.
It is hard to believe that this is a first book by Jennifer Cody Epstein. She tells this story, so that the reader thinks that the word was from a writer who is a veteran of the master of novels for many years to come.
It is obvious that the author of much research can be done to bring this story together. The novel takes the reader through a historical and eventful time in the revolutionary period in China. Be sure that the painter from Shanghai to add to your library. I recommend this novel. The PEN
